Both the drop-ins and the MaWAW youth suport project are supported by a number of dedicated volunteers to whom we are eternally grateful. Volunteers provide support with: shopping, cooking, setting up the drop-ins, welcoming clients, providing advice and information, form filling, delivering English classes, fundraising, delivering youth sessions, admin, supervising outings, befriending and washing up. We also, from time to time, have office based roles which involve research and administration.
We are currently looking for:
Youth Outreach and Support
English and Maths support volunteers (experience of teaching/tutoring preferred - one evening per week (TBC)/or Wed 15.00 – 18.00)
Youth Club Volunteers (Wed 15.00 – 18.00)
Targeted Youth Support Volunteers (Outreach)
Targeted Youth Support Volunteer Interpreters
Thursday drop-in (Balham) 12.00 – 15.00
Admin/Reception volunteer
Office based roles
Research volunteer (dates and times variable)
