Wandsworth Asylum Welcome

Wandsworth Asylum Welcome is a friendly open access centre which offers advice, information and support and the opportunity to learn English, and socialise. We provide support in many areas including housing, benefits, access to education, immigration, family support, access to health services, debt, and much more. We work closely with volunteers and partners who provide assistance to clients at the sessions. Partners include: Wandsworth PCT, Notre Dame Refugee Centre, the Association of Somali Women and Children, the Katherine Low Settlement (Refugee Education Project) and Wandsworth Work and Play.

Our service is free and people using the service don’t need an appointment – we operate on a first come first served basis. We offer a nutritious lunch and can help with transport costs for destitute clients. We also run popular outings for families in the school holidays.
